Is everyone untrustworthy?
So the bosses of Palmalat in Italy are to stand trial following the spectacular and suspicious collapse of the firm in 2003. A top rider in the Tour De France has been caught blood doping and an impertinent Rwandan journalist even questioned the motives of a visiting British politician.
What is the world coming to?
I know people keep talking about the decline of trust in the world and there's lots of excitement about Generation Y, the people who only trust each other and not authority figures....
But, here's a selection from today's newspapers:
- Social enterprise in the UK is worth over £8bn a year
- Emergency services do a decent job in English floods
- An Arab League peace delegation visits Israel
- More troops leave Northern Ireland
- Naked cyclists protest against pollution
If you ask me, reports of the collapse of trustworthy behaviour in the world are much exaggerated.
Liam

This may smack of astroturfing (isn't that what they call it?)...

Oh heck - reviews - now I'm going to get into trouble for being really bad at posting for the past two weeks!
I apologise very humbly. Is down to a combination of a dizzying mini-tour of European cities (work, not hols) and mildly hysterical running around in circles trying to get everything done before I leave for Oz on Sunday. Looking forward to the Melcrum summit in Sydney next week, followed by four whole weeks off - I've never taken that long off in my entire working life!
Anyway, I promise to try and get a couple of postings in before I escape on holiday. And in the meantime I've added a review of Martin Lukes: Who moved my blackberry on the network. Still makes me laugh out loud every time I read it.

Liam, I'm slightly worried about the pollution story... what is it you do in your spare time?!
